Dr. Jack Surpure and his wife
of 40 years have lived in Las Vegas since 1992. They have
made Summerlin their home for the past decade. Dr.
Jack cares deeply about his community and knows that
he can make a positive difference in Carson City.
As a practicing physician specializing in pediatric
emergency medicine, he is uniquely qualified to make the decisions
necessary to ensure Nevadans have access to safe and affordable
healthcare. Dr. Jack Surpure is a triple
board certified physician, has published several books and
research articles, and has served in leadership roles in several
medical associations at the state and national levels.
With over three decades as a member of the teaching
faculties at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center
and UNLV, he will bring a great deal of educational experience
to Carson City. Our education system is far behind that of
other states and needs an overhaul. Dr. Jack
knows that better results from our schools will yield the
qualified work force that will allow local companies to grow
and provide additional incentive for out of state companies
to move here.
As a member of the medical community, Dr.
Jack is offended and disappointed in the recent medical
crisis here in Clark County. In the Assembly, he will ensure
that this will not happen again and will work to restore the
integrity of the local medical system.

the opportunity to serve our community and has hit the ground
